Classic Gujarati Dal Fry
A comforting everyday dal fry made with premium Wazir toor dal, tempered with ghee and spices.

Ingredients
- 1 cup Wazir Oily Tukda Tuver Dal
- 2 tbsp ghee
- 1 tsp mustard seeds
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 2 green chilies
- Curry leaves, turmeric, salt, coriander

- Wash and pressure cook 1 cup Wazir toor dal with 3 cups water, turmeric, and salt for 3 whistles.
- In a pan, heat 2 tbsp ghee. Add mustard seeds, cumin, curry leaves, dried red chilies.
- Add chopped onion, tomato, green chilies. Sauté until soft.
- Add cooked dal, adjust water for consistency. Simmer 5 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh coriander and a squeeze of lemon.
