Dal Makhani

Creamy slow-cooked dal makhani with urad dal.

  • 1 cup Swanaaj Urad Gota
  • Butter, cream, tomato puree
  • Garam masala, kasuri methi

  1. Soak urad dal overnight. Pressure cook until soft.
  2. Add rajma (optional). Cook with butter, cream, tomato puree.
  3. Simmer on low for 1 hour. The longer, the better.
  4. Finish with cream and kasuri methi.
