Dal Pithla
Quick Maharashtrian pithla made with besan and dal — rustic comfort food.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Sudarshan toor dal
- 2 tbsp besan
- Mustard, cumin, garlic, curry leaves

- Cook a small amount of toor dal. Keep it slightly watery.
- In another pan, heat oil, add mustard, cumin, garlic, green chilies, curry leaves.
- Add besan mixed with water. Stir to avoid lumps.
- Add cooked dal, turmeric, salt. Cook until thick.
- Serve with bhakri or rice.
