  • 1 cup Sudarshan Madhi Deshi Oily Toor Dal
  • Jaggery, tamarind, kokum
  • Peanuts, ghee, whole spices

  1. Cook toor dal with turmeric.
  2. Add jaggery, tamarind paste, tomato, kokum. Boil 10 min.
  3. Add peanuts (optional). Season with salt.
  4. Temper with ghee, mustard, cumin, cinnamon, cloves, curry leaves, hing.
  5. Serve with rotli and rice.
