Khatti Meethi Dal
Sweet and tangy Gujarati dal with jaggery and tamarind.

- 1 cup Khajoori Tuver Dal Tukda
- 2 tbsp jaggery
- 1 tbsp tamarind paste
- Ghee, mustard, cumin, curry leaves

- Cook 1 cup Khajoori dal with turmeric until soft.
- Add jaggery, tamarind paste, salt, green chilies. Simmer 10 min.
- Temper with ghee, mustard seeds, cumin, curry leaves, cinnamon, cloves.
- Pour tempering over dal and mix well.
- Serve hot with steamed rice.
