Puran Poli
Sweet Maharashtrian flatbread stuffed with dal and jaggery filling.

Ingredients
- 1 cup Gunavan Toor Dal
- 1 cup jaggery
- 2 cups flour
- Cardamom, nutmeg, ghee

Instructions
- Cook toor dal (or chana dal) until very soft. Drain completely.
- Add jaggery, cardamom, nutmeg. Cook until thick paste (puran).
- Make soft dough with flour, turmeric, oil.
- Stuff puran in dough balls. Roll thin.
- Cook on tawa with ghee until golden spots appear.
- Serve with ghee.
